Metaphor and Abstractness:Metaphysical Terms in Chinese and Western Philosophy

摘要：

In this paper,I first intend to characterize the metaphysics in Chinese philosophy as a kind of metaphorical metaphysics.Compared with metaphysics in Chinese philosophy,I would characterize the metaphysics in Western philosophy as logical metaphysics.By logical metaphysics Ⅰ mean that most metaphysical categories are logical concepts,while the categories in Chinese metaphorical metaphysics are mostly expressed by empirical terms and are used to metaphorically express metaphysical categories.
