Barium poisoning:one case report

@@ A 18-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of vomiting,diarrhea and worsening paralysis. The onset of symptoms,vomiting and diarrhea has been sudden for two hours.Shortly after that,generalized flaccid weakness developed,and he began to have an intense aching pain in the muscles of his legs.Also He was unable to walk without assistance.After one hour and thirty minutes,he was noted with mild shortness of breath.His mother brought him to the emergency department of this hospital at 7pm.He has no history of chest pain,fever.
