Thermal shock synthesis of carbon nanotubes supporting small-sized rhenium nanoparticles for efficient electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution
Rhenium(Re)has recently emerged as a promising catalyst in hydrogen evolution reactions(HER)due to its metal-hydrogen interaction, which resembles that of Pt.The availability of small-sized Re nanoparticles with abundant accessible active sites is nevertheless limited by the required high-temperature preparation conditions, and the development of efficient Re-based HER catalysts remains in its infancy.
