Design of cross-welded Na3V2(PO4)3/C nanofibrous mats and their application in sodium-ion batteries
The rapid development of sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)requires the search for high-performance electrode mate-rials with high energy density. In this regard,free-standing electrode materials without additional conductive agents, adhesives and metal foil current collectors can effectively reduce the overall electrode mass, thereby increasing the energy density.Free-standing Na3V2(PO4)3/C(NVP/C)nanofibrous mats have been successfully fabricated through an ionic liquid-assisted electrospinning method followed by controllable sintering process. The good solubility of the ionic liquid precursor ensures the spinnability in the PAN-based electrospinning system, and a dense and continuous carbon layer is formed in situ on the surface of the NVP nanoparticles during the subsequent heat treatment process, which can effectively increase the electrons conductivity of the entire electrodes.
