Microparticles and Cardiovascular Disease

摘要：

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death in China.Even adequate treatment of these risk factors,including hypertension,diabetes mellitus,and smoking,does not completely reduce the risk of CVD.It is necessary to find out novel biomarkers or mediators to reveal the mechanisms leading to the development of CVD.Cumulating evidence suggests that microparticles may provide such a mediator.
