1 Railway tunnels
As of the end of 2019, the operation length of railway in China reached 139000 km, in which the length of railway tunnel reached 18041 km with a total number of 16084 .
(1)Newly increased:a total length of 1710 km and a number of 967 railway tunnels had been constructed in 2019, including 27 extra-long tunnels with single tunnel length over 10 km and a total length of 369 km.
