I'm Chandran Nair, the Founder and CEO of Global Institute for Tomorrow, a think tank based in Hong Kong. It is a great pleasure for me to be invited to say a few words at the CPC and World Political Parties Summit. In essence, it is a very important forum that also seeks to commemorate the 100 thanniversary of the Chinese Communist Party. I will focus my remarks on what I believe are the principal responsibilities of political parties in relation to their contribution to their countries and nations and nation building.
