@@ 1 MethodsGround seed samples collected from the LSU Agricultural Center”s Citrus Research Station were each extracted with 30%,50%,70%,100% methanol solutions in water for 72 hours under agitation at room temperature (25 ℃). Seed samples were replicated 16 times per solvent treatment. Extraction solu tions were filtered through final 0. 2 μm filter papers before high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analyses (System Gold ,Beckman Instruments ,Fullerton ,CA ,USA).
