Multiple Verrucae Vulgaris in a Young Man”s Tattoo: A Case Report
IntroductionVerruca vulgaris is a very normal infectious disease caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection.1 Tattoos are increasingly popular in the current society,especially with the advent of laser tattoo removal.However,we encounter a series of tattoo-associated skin disorders such as psoriasis,2 melanoma,3 and verruca vulgaris.4-6 Furthermore,the first report of tattooassociated verrucae vulgaris was published in 19614 followed by a few cases of tattoo-associated verruca in recent years.5,6 Until now,coexistence of verruca vulgaris and tattoos has never been reported in Chinese literature.We here describe a case of multiple verrucae vulgaris in a young man”s tattoo.
