Since Biden took office, the US' foreign trade policy has demonstrated a dual focus. On the one side, it continued and stepped up the trade restriction policies against China under the Trump administration, particularly the crackdown on Chinese technology enterprises; on the other hand, it eased the strained economic and trade relations during the Trump era with its allies and partner countries.
