At 19:00 on February 14th, the phrase "50 a?os de amistad entre México y China" ("Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations Between China and Mexico") in both Chinese and Spanish were shown on Chongqing Grand Theater and Chongqing World Financial Center (WFC). The screens on the exterior walls of Chongqing Grand Theater and ten surrounding buildings were lit up with green, white, and red lights, the main colors of the Mexican national flag, together with scrolling images of traditional Mexican elements. The light show was a grand celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Mexico, which expressed sincere wishes for the two countries to foster even closer friendship and greater cooperation.
